So, we’ve been doing the orientation thing since Tuesday afternoon. It’s been interesting, if not a bit repetitive.
I’ve been going back and forth between “please never start” and “just hurry up and get it going” since orientation. I’m currently on the former.
While all of the upperclassmen appear happy, and they’re proof that it is, in fact, possible to survive M1, no one has actually said “it’s not that bad.” In fact, they’ve all confirmed it’s pretty miserable. I am not looking forward to that.
On the bright side, apparently after Christmas it calms down a bit. I’m hoping this is the hardest semester. It’s possible it could get tougher, material-wise, in the future, but I’m sure the shock will have worn off by then.
Whether I want it to or not, class starts on Monday…
